In brief: Amazon describes its 2026 changes as one of its biggest fee cuts, worth an average of about 15p (17 euro cents) per unit across its European stores. FBA parcel fees fell in the UK and the four largest EU stores, referral fees dropped on lower-priced items in several categories, and the cheaper Low-price FBA rates now reach products up to £20. Monthly storage, return-to-seller and liquidation fees went up.

Euro stores use the same thresholds in euros (€15, €20, €10). Items above these price bands keep their existing rates.
Low-price FBA rates, which were previously limited to cheaper items, now cover products up to£20 (€20) in most categories. Amazon puts the saving on newly eligible products at around £0.40 (€0.45) per unit.
From 5 January 2026 the variable part of Best Deal and Lightning Deal fees is capped at £200 in the UK and €300 in Germany; in the French, Italian and Spanish stores it is €100. Amazon's July 2026 peak-season notice listed higher caps for deals in the big shopping events, so check the terms of the specific deal type — see peak season 2026 fees.
To balance the cuts, Amazon raised three fees from 1 February 2026 — monthly storage, sending stock back to you, and liquidating it — and revised FBA fees in its smaller EU stores. Amazon says these add an average of about 2p (2 euro cents) per FBA unit — small overall, but they fall hardest on sellers with slow-moving stock or high return rates.
A seller sells 1,000 units a month of a £16 home product. Under the old 15% referral rate, the referral fee was £2.40 a unit; at 8% it's £1.28 — a saving of £1.12 a unit, or £1,120 a month. At £16 the product may also now qualify for Low-price FBA, saving roughly another 40p a unit. If the same seller holds a lot of slow-selling stock, part of that saving goes back in higher storage fees.
The new rates show up per unit inside each settlement, so compare per-unit fees rather than monthly totals when you reconcile a settlement.
