What we do

TrueBooks is accounting automation software for online marketplace sellers. We pull every settlement, payout and transaction from the marketplaces you sell on, reconcile the fees, refunds, advertising costs and Marketplace Facilitator VAT, and post a clean invoice to your Xero account that ties to the bank deposit — to the penny.

We launched with Amazon Seller Central support and are progressively rolling out coverage for eBay, Shopify, Etsy, Walmart and TikTok Shop. Our goal is simple: give small and growing sellers the same end-of-month accuracy that big merchants pay bookkeeping firms thousands a month for, at a price that scales with order volume instead of headcount.

Who we are

TrueBooks is a trading name of Ideal Creations Ltd, a private limited company registered in England & Wales (company number 13234121). Our registered office is in Buckhurst Hill, Essex, United Kingdom. We are a small, independent team — no outside investors, no acquisition runway, just product work and customer support.

Independence

TrueBooks is an independent third-party solution. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or otherwise associated with Amazon.com, Inc., eBay Inc., Xero Limited, or any other marketplace or accounting platform we integrate with. Trademarks referenced on this site are the property of their respective owners.

How we make money

We charge a transparent monthly subscription that scales with the number of orders we reconcile for you each month — see the pricing page for the live tier table. We do not sell your data, run advertising, take a percentage of your sales, or charge for connections or integrations.

Security and data handling

We treat your settlement data and marketplace credentials with the same seriousness a bank treats yours. Tokens are encrypted at rest, raw settlement files are retained only for an integrity-check window before deletion, and we publish full details on our security and data handling pages.
