Amazon seller news · Fees
Amazon published its 2026 peak season details on 14 July 2026. Here's what Q4 will cost UK sellers and when things are due.
Last updated: 19 September 2026
In brief: a festive peak surcharge is added to FBA fulfilment fees in the UK and Germany from 15 October 2026 to 14 January 2027 — around 12p per parcel in the UK. Deal fees for Prime Big Deal Days and Black Friday Week match Prime Day's: in the UK, £12 per deal plus 0.75% of deal sales, capped at £600. The 1.5% fuel and logistics surcharge is charged on top of the peak fee.
| Marketplace | Covers | Average extra cost |
|---|---|---|
| UK | Standard-size parcels (small and standard) and big envelopes, whether the order ships from UK FBA stock or from EU stock via Remote Fulfilment | £0.12 per parcel item; £0.07 per large/XL envelope item |
| Germany | Standard-size parcels shipped from German warehouses, including Pan-EU and EFN stock, and orders sent from UK stock via Remote Fulfilment | €0.27 per unit |
It doesn't apply to oversize items, low-price FBA items, or orders delivered to customers in other EU countries. The figures are averages; your exact charge depends on product size and weight.
| Store | Per deal | Plus | Cap on the variable part |
|---|---|---|---|
| UK | £12 | 0.75% of deal sales | £600 |
| Germany | €16 | 0.75% of deal sales | €1,000 |
| France, Italy, Spain | €10 | 0.5% of deal sales | €300 |
The same fee table covers Lightning Deals, Best Deals and Prime Exclusive Discounts. Prime Exclusive Discounts now also need a product rating of at least 3.5 stars. Amazon offered 30% off the per-deal fee for early submissions (by 5 August for Prime Big Deal Days and 5 September for Black Friday Week); both early dates have now passed.
| Event | Stock at UK warehouses by | Stock at EU warehouses by | Deal submissions close |
|---|---|---|---|
| Prime Big Deal Days | 16 September 2026 | 9 September 2026 | 23 September 2026 |
| Black Friday Week | 28 October 2026 | 21 October 2026 | 18 November 2026 |
Amazon also warned that inbound delivery slots will be limited from November, when its warehouses switch from receiving stock to sending orders out.
A seller ships 4,000 standard-parcel units through UK FBA between mid-October and mid-January, and runs two Black Friday Week deals that sell £25,000 in total.
That's roughly £700 of extra Amazon fees for the season, before any change in advertising spend.
Peak fees sit inside fulfilment fees rather than on their own line, so check them per unit when you reconcile a settlement.
TrueBooks imports every settlement as Amazon issues it and posts the peak fees, deal fees and fuel surcharge to the right accounts with the right VAT, so Q4's extra costs show up clearly in Xero without extra work. See the Amazon Xero integration.
